The Second Asian And Third National Medical Students' Research Conference (Medicon 2009) will serve as a venue where young scientists and future doctors will meet to present their researches and share ideas in the fields of clinical and fundamental medicine, biomedicine and public health. Medicon 2009 is being hosted by Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore (Manipal University). The conference will provide an excellent opportunity to the attendees to meet with a number of leading scientists and medical researchers. The conference is open for both active as well as passive participants and to take part in the programme like workshops, social programme etc. Medicon 2009 invites papers and research works from all active participants on the concerning themes of the conference. The conference is expecting about 250 active participants and another 150 passive participants to attend the knowledge extravaganza. As an active participant you take part in the scientific contest by presenting a poster or doing an oral presentation. As a passive you are allowed to attend all sessions, workshops and lectures.
