• 1/2 cup Soft Butter
• 1 cup Brown Sugar (packed)
• 3 medium Egg Yolks (beaten)
• 1-1/2 cups Flour
• 1 tsp Baking Soda
• 1 tsp Nutmeg
• 1 tsp Cinnamon
• 3 tsp Sour Milk
• 1 cup Blackberry Jam
• 3/4 cup Raisins
• 3 medium Egg Whites

| How to make Blackberry Jam Cake: |
| • | Cream butter and sugar.
|
| • | Add egg yolks and mix the ingredients well.
|
| • | Sift the dry ingredients together.
|
| • | Add sour milk, jam and egg whites to the dry ingredients. Blend thoroughly.

| • | Add in lightly-floured raisins.
|
| • | Prepare two lightly floured cake pans of 8-inch each and divide the batter in the two.

| • | Bake at a temperature of 375 deg F, for 30 minutes.

| • | Frost if desired. |
