Ingredients:
  • 2 cups Chickpeas (Kabuli Chana)(cooked)
  • 1 cup Chicken Stock
  • ¼ cup Onion (chopped)
  • 2 thick slices of Ginger (Adrak)
  • 1/8 tsp Cayenne Pepper (Red Chilli)
  • 1 tsp Cumin (Jeera)(ground)
  • ½ tsp Coriander (Dhania)(ground)
  • ¼ tsp Saffron (Kesar)
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 Tomato (diced)
  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice
How to make Chickpea Stew:
  • Take together chickpeas, chicken stock, onion, ginger, cayenne, cumin, coriander, saffron, and salt in a pan and get it to a boil.
  • Cook it on low flame for 15 minutes.
  • Stir in tomato and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Mix in lemon juice and flavor with salt & pepper to taste.
  • Serve hot.
