Ingredients:
  • 5 Idli
  • 1 cup( 236 ml) Maida
  • 1/4 cup(59 ml) Corn flour
  • 2 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Ginger-Garlic paste
  • For Chili gravy:
  • 1 Onion big (chopped)
  • 1- 2 Tomato
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp Jeera Powder (Cumin Powder)
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 Green Chili
  • 1 tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
How to make Chili Idli:
  • First cut the idlis into small cubes.
  • Then make a paste by mixing ginger-garlic paste, maida, corn flour and 1tsp chili powder.
  • Dip the idlis in this paste and deep fry it.
  • Making gravy:
  • Heat oil and season it.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste, green chili, chopped onion and mix it.
  • After sauté, add 1 tomato and mix it well again.
  • Add garam masala, chili powder, Jeera powder on the mixture.
  • Put the fried idlis and little water on the mixture and stir it well for 5 min.
Suggestions:
Serve with coconut chutney
