Ingredients:
  • 3 Bacon Slices (diced)
  • 2 (9 oz) packages frozen Corn (thawed)
  • 1 Onion (chopped)
  • 1 large Potato (chopped)
  • 2 cups Chicken Broth
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp Pepper
  • 2 tbsp All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 tbsp Butter (melted)
  • 2 cups Milk
How to make Corn Chowder:
  • Stir fry bacon slices in a skillet in the rendered fat, until crisp, over medium-high heat.
  • Add bacon to a crock cooker, along with its fat, corn, onion, potato, chicken broth, salt, and pepper. Cover and cook on low flame for 6-8 hours.
  • Combine butter and flour together.
  • Mix with milk.
  • Add to the crock pot and cook further until thickened.
  • Serve hot.
