  • ½ cup Flour
  • 2 tbsp Suet
  • 1 tbsp Cheese (grated)
  • 3 Bread Slices (toasted)
  • Fat (for frying)
How to make Cotswold Dumpling:
  • Mix flour, suet, and cheese with enough cold water to make a little sticky dough.
  • Divide the dough and shape into medium-sized roundels.
  • Make crumbs from the toasted bread slices.
  • Heat fat in a frying pan.
  • Rub the dough roundels in the bread crumbs and fry them until golden brown & crispy.
  • Remove excess oil by placing the dumplings on tissue papers.
  • Serve hot.
