  • 1/2 kg Okra (wash, dry, and slice lengthwise.)
  • 1/2 cup Bengal Gram flour (besan)
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Red Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Carom Seeds (ajwain)
  • 4 tsps Chaat Masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 Lime (juice)
  • Cooking Oil, for deep frying (Vegetable/ Canola/ Sunflower Oil)
How to make Crispy Fried Okra:
  • In a skillet heat the cooking oil in medium heat.
  • Mix the okra with rest of the ingredients.
  • Season with salt.
  • Deep fry the okra until crisp.
  • Garnish with lime juice.
