  • 20 Puris (golgappa)
  • 1/3 cup Yoghurt (thick)
  • 1/4cups Peas (boiled with salt)
  • ¼ cup Potatoes (boiled)
  • ¼ tsp Jeera (cumin seeds)
  • ¼ tsp Haldi (turmeric) Powder
  • ¼ tsp Garam Masala Powder
  • 1 tsp Chilli Powder
  • 4 tbsp Sweet Imli Chutney
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil (as required)

    For garnishing
  • Fresh Coriander (chopped)
  • Cumin Seed Powder (roasted)
  • Red Chilli Powder
  • Black Salt (kala namak)
  • Salt to taste
  • Fine Sev (ready made)
How to make Dahi Puri:
  • Take a pan and heat oil in it.
  • Add cumin seeds to the heated oil.
  • When the seeds start spluttering add the diced boiled potatoes.
  • Now add salt, chilli powder, haldi powder and garam masala powder.
  • Saute for a few minutes and then remove the pan from the stove.
  • Pour the yoghurt in a bowl and whip it properly.
  • Make a small hole at the centre of each puri.
  • Now put into it the boiled peas, potato mixture and little sweet chutney.
  • Pour two tsp of yogurt into the puri.
  • Garnish the puri with coriander leaves, red chilli powder, black salt and roasted cumin seeds. Sprinkle little salt and serve hot and spicy dahi puris.
