  • 1 can Kidney Beans (soaked, rinsed)
  • 1 can Corn
  • 2 tsp Salt
How to make Githeri:
  • Wash corn in cold water.
  • Heat the corn together with water and beans in a saucepan over medium to low flame.
  • Simmer for 2 hrs, or until tender.
  • Season the Githeri with salt.
  • Githeri is ready to serve. It is accompanied with chapattis, ugali, and meat to complete a Kenyan meal.
