  • 1.36 kg Beef (grounded)
  • 455 g Pork (grounded)
  • 115 g Kidney Fat (chopped)
  • 1 cup Bread Crumbs
  • 1 Onion (chopped)
  • 2 Egg Yolks
  • 115 g Salt Pork (chopped)
  • 3 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tbsp Flour
  • ½ cup Cream
  • Salt and Pepper (to taste)
How to make Klops:
  • Heat butter in a pan and fry onions until translucent.
  • Mix together beef, pork, kidney fat, salt pork, bread crumbs, fried onions, and egg yolks in a bowl.
  • Flavor with salt and pepper. Mix into a loaf and smear with butter.
  • Set the oven at 350 °F and bake the loaf for 45 minutes.
  • Spread cream and sprinkle flour. Bake for another 15 minutes.
