Ingredients:
  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tsp Chilli Powder
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 8 Cloves Garlic (crushed)
  • 1 inch Ginger (grated)
  • Red Food Color
  • 1 pint Natural Yogurt
  • 1 tbsp Cumin Powder
  • 1 tbsp Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 2Lbs Lamb Steaks (cubed)
  • 1 Lemon (sliced)
  • Salt to taste
How to make Lamb Tikka:
  • Make paste with the all spice powders, masala, food color, lemon juice, ginger and garlic.
  • Stir the paste well with the yogurt and salt to make a tandoori marinade.
  • Marinate the lamb in the tandoori marinade for 2 hours.
  • Preheat the oven for at least 20 minutes.
  • Remove excess marinade from the lamb and put lamb pieces on skewers on a wire rack in the oven.
  • Cook for 15-20 minutes.
  • Garnish with the wedges of lemon.
