  • 1 bowl Yogurt (small)
  • 1 tbsp Gram flour
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • ¾ Green Chili (chopped)
  • 1inch Ginger (crushed)
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric Powder
  • ½ tsp Mustard Seeds (chopped)
  • 15-20 Curry Leaves (chopped)
  • 3 tbsp Oil
  • 1.5 ltr. Water
  • Salt to taste
How to make Marathi Kadhi:
  • Mix the gram flour,yogurt and whisk gently until no lamps.
  • Add salt, sugar, turmeric powder, water and mix well till uniform.
  • Add ginger and chili into the above mixture.
  • Take a pan and heat oil.
  • Add mustard seeds and curry leaves into the oil and fry for 10 seconds.
  • Add yogurt mix and keep stirring till the boil comes.
  • Take out from flame.
Serve with rice
