Marides Tiganites Recipe

• 2.20 lb Whitebait
• 2 Whole lemons, sliced in wedges
• 6 oz Flour
• Salt to taste
• Oil for frying

• Wash the fish properly and drain.
• Preheat the oil in a frying pan.
• Combine flour and salt in a bowl, mix well.
• Coat the white bait in this flour mixture, shaking off excess.
• Fry them in the oil till golden brown.
• Serve hot with the fresh lemon wedges.
