Recipe Type Veg.
  • 3 cups Curd (yogurt)
  • 1/2 inch Ginger
  • 5 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tsp Jeera
  • Coriander (as desired)
  • Salt (to taste)

    For Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 5 to 6 leaves Curry leaves
  • A pinch of Asafoetida (hing)
How to make Masala Buttermilk:
  • Combine ginger, garlic, jeera, and coriander and grind them to make a paste.
  • Blend the paste with curd and salt. Add water, if desired.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, curry leaves & hing. Allow it to splutter.
  • Combine this seasoning with the blended butter milk. Your masala butter milk is ready.
