  • 2.2 lbs Fresh Sea Mussels
  • 3 Shallots (finely chopped)
  • 3 cloves Garlic (crushed)
  • 1/2 cup White Wine
  • 1-1/2 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1/4 gm Saffron (crushed)
  • 1/2 tsp Curry Powder
  • Fresh Herbs (finely chopped)
  • 1.7 oz Butter
  • Salt & Pepper
How to make Mussel Soup:
  • Fry shallots, garlic, herbs and spices in butter, in a pan.
  • Add mussels and white wine.
  • Lid the pan and allow to steam for 4-5 minutes.
  • Add cream and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Serve the mussel soup with bread and butter.
