  • 2 Onions (sliced)
  • 2 Green Chilies (chopped)
  • 1 small piece Ginger (chopped)
  • 1½ cups Gram Flour
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Asafetida Powder
  • 1 tsp Red Chilly Powder
  • 4 Curry Leaves (chopped)
  • ½ cup Oil
  • Salt (to taste)
How to make Onion Bhaji:
  • Combine all ingredients, except oil, in a large bowl and mix well, adding 3 tsp water.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add in small portions of the mixture. Fry until they turn reddish brown.
  • Serve hot with tomato sauce.
