  • 6 Onions
  • 1 tsp Chilli powder
  • 4 Green chillies
  • 2 Cups besan
  • 1/2 Cup rice flour
  • A pinch baking soda
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying
How to make Onion Pakoda:
  • Thinly slice the onions.
  • Rub the onions with salt.
  • Add the chilli powder, besan, green-chilli paste.
  • Mix well to make batter. Avoid using excess water.
  • Take a small portion of the mix at a time and drop it in hot oil.
  • Fry till golden brown.
  • Serve with chutney or ketchup.
