  • 5 Eggs
  • 12 slices Wheat Bread
  • ½ cup Milk
  • ½ cup White Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Orange Liqueur
  • 1 tsp Orange Essence
How to make Pain Perdu:
  • Take a large bowl and mix eggs, milk, liqueur, orange essence and sugar to a fluffy thick paste.
  • Now, take a shallow pan and pour the mixture to it. Soak bread slices into it for a minute.
  • Take a flat pan and oil it lightly. Fry the slices on it until golden brown.
  • Serve hot.
