- ½ Cabbage (shredded)
- 3 Onions (shredded)
- 100 gm Smoked Bacon (diced)
- Salt to taste
- Black Pepper to taste
- 3 tsp Vinegar
- 3 tsp Olive Oil
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
How to make Polish Braised Red Cabbage:
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the bacon until its fat melts.
- Stir in onion and fry again for 3-5 min.
- Pour the cabbage with vinegar, cumin, salt and pepper to taste. Cook it covered slowly for 30 min.
- Serve it hot.
