  • 1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • ½ cup Peanut Butter
  • 1 cup Butter
  • 1¼ cups packed Brown Sugar
  • ¾ cup Whole Bran Cereal
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2½ cups Raisins
  • 2 cups Rolled Oats
How to make Raisin Peanut Butter Bran Cookies:
  • Preheat oven to 350 °F (175 °C).
  • Line cookie sheets with aluminum foil or baking parchment.
  • Place a large saucepan on medium heat and melt butter.
  • Add peanut butter and brown sugar. Stir to melt the mixture and remove from heat.
  • Pour the mixture into a large mixing bowl.
  • Add bran cereal, eggs and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  • Add in raisins and oats. Stir well to evenly blend the ingredients.
  • Sift flour and baking soda in a separate bowl.
  • Add the flour mixture to the peanut butter mixture. Mix well.
  • Place tablespoons of the batter on cookie sheets.
  • Dip a fork into water and press the cookies to flatten them measuring ½-inch thick.
  • Bake the cookies for 15 minutes till they are lightly colored.
  • Remove and cool the cookies on wire racks.
