Instead of preparing salad using cucumber and tomatoes, try making something similar using Rajma, popularly known as 'Kidney beans'. A few teaspoons of Vinegar makes this a treat to the tongue.

  • 1 Cup rajma beans (soaked overnight and pressure cooked)
  • 1 Small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 Garlic cloves (crushed into a paste)
  • 1 Small tomato, finely chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 Chilly, finely chopped
  • 3-4 tsp Vinegar
  • 2 tsp Lemon juice
How to make Rajma Salad:
  • In a glass bowl, add all the ingredients, except vinegar and lemon juice.
  • Pour vinegar and lemon juice over the salad and let it marinate for 30 minutes.
  • Toss just before serving.
  • Rajma Salad is ready.
