  • 1 cup Rice
  • 1 liter Milk
  • 4 Cashew Nuts
  • 4 Raisins
  • 4 Almonds
  • 2 Cardamoms (powdered)
  • 8 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Ghee
How to make Rice Payasam:
  • Heat ghee in a pan and gently fry the rice. Remove and keep to the side.
  • Put little ghee in the same pan and fry cashew nuts, almonds, and raisins lightly.
  • Mix in the fried rice, sugar, and cardamom.
  • Pour milk and simmer on low flame until rice turns tender.
  • Serve hot.
