  • 250 gm Any hard cheese
  • Lemon juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 50 gm Butter
  • Black pepper to taste
How to make Saganaki:
  • Slice the cheese into 1 cm thick pieces.
  • Heat the butter in a frying pan and place the slices in it.
  • Reduce the heat and let it cook for about 1-2 minutes till it bubbles, it should not turn brown, but should look creamy and sticky.
  • Sprinkle a little lemon juice on the top and some black pepper.
