This delicacy is an all time favourite among all Bengalies out there. The best part is that it can be made in a matter of few minutes, with Cheena and milk. The after effect this dish leaves in your mouth is absolute heaven.

Ingredients:
  • 100 gms Chenna
  • 2 tbsp Milk
  • 4 tsp Powdered Sugar
  • Few drops of Rose/Kewra Essence
  • Silver Foil
How to make Sandesh:
  • Blend all ingredients in a pan gently
  • Cook on low flame, stirring continuously till the mixture becomes not too dry and not too soft.
  • Put off the flame and arrange the mixture on a plate. Cool it.Now cut it into pieces.
  • Decorate with silver foil.
  • Sandesh is ready.

thats what bengali sweets, made of milk, khoya and paneer. Rice flour are made as sustitute to paneer and khoya by businessmen to reduce the value of sweets.

i am a bengali and we dont make sandesh like this....it is made simply with flour...traditiionally rice flour in the villages at eid and sweetened with ghour ..morcha ghur...nowadays brown sugar ..not the same taste tho!
