Ingredients:
  • 15 raw jumbo Shrimps
  • 1 tbsp Peanut Oil
  • 6 Garlic Cloves (minced)
  • 1 Carrot (coarsely grated)
  • 2 Eggs
  • 200 g Rice Noodles
  • 2 tsp Ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Oyster Sauce
  • 2 tsp Fish Sauce
  • 3 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 3 tbsp Water
  • 1 tsp dried Chili Flakes
  • 2 tbsp Peanuts
  • 2 Spring Onions
  • ¼ cup fresh Bean Sprouts
How to make Shrimp Pad Thai:
  • Place the noodles in hot boiling water for about 2-3 minutes, until tender. Add some cold water and drain properly.
  • Combine ketchup, brown sugar, oyster sauce, fish sauce, lemon juice, water, and chili flakes in a small bowl. Set aside.
  • Heat peanut oil in a large frying pan, and fry shrimps, carrots, and garlic until the shrimps turn pink and opaque.
  • Transfer the mixture on the side and make a well in the middle. Break eggs and stir fry until cooked.
  • Add noodles and stir gently.
  • Add sauce mixture and peanuts. Mix well.
  • Remove the pan from heat, and add on spring onions and bean sprouts. Serve hot.
