  • 3 cups Basmati Rice
  • Salt (to taste)
  • 4 tsp Oil
How to make Smothered Rice:
  • Combine rice with enough water, oil, and salt in a large pan.
  • Boil until the water reduces to little below rice level, on medium flame.
  • Cover and cook on low flame for ½ hour.
  • Serve hot with kebabs.
