| Ingredients: |

• 1 Long snakegourd
• 4 Cups curd (yoghurt)
• 1 Onion
• 4 Green chilies, crushed
• Some curry leaves
• 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
• Pinch of salt
• 1/2 tsp Jeera
• 1/2 tsp Rai
• 1 tbsp Oil

| How to make Snakegourd Raita: |
| • | Peel and wash snakegourd. Cut it into rounds.
|
| • | Boil the cut snakegourd in 2 cups of water, till it gets tender.
|
| • | Put curd in bowl and add salt. Set aside.
|
| • | Heat oil in a pan. Add jeera, rai, curry leaves and onion pieces.
|
| • | After the onion turns brown, add turmeric powder and boiled snakegourd pieces.
|
| • | Add green chilies. Take off from flame and add to the curd.
|
| • | Serve with cooked rice.
|
| • | Snakegourd Raita is ready. |
