Ingredients:
• 1 Long snakegourd
• 4 Cups curd (yoghurt)
• 1 Onion
• 4 Green chilies, crushed
• Some curry leaves
• 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
• Pinch of salt
• 1/2 tsp Jeera
• 1/2 tsp Rai
• 1 tbsp Oil
How to make Snakegourd Raita:
Peel and wash snakegourd. Cut it into rounds.
Boil the cut snakegourd in 2 cups of water, till it gets tender.
Put curd in bowl and add salt. Set aside.
Heat oil in a pan. Add jeera, rai, curry leaves and onion pieces.
After the onion turns brown, add turmeric powder and boiled snakegourd pieces.
Add green chilies. Take off from flame and add to the curd.
Serve with cooked rice.
Snakegourd Raita is ready.
