Indian Recipes : Tofu Rice Recipe

Ingredients:
• 225 gm Hard tofu, cubed
• 1 Cup basmati rice, cooked
• 1 Onion, chopped
• 2 Tomatoes, chopped
• 1 tsp Garam masala powder
• Salt to taste
• 3 Garlic cloves, crushed
• 1" piece Ginger, crushed
• 2 Green chilies
• 4 Whole cloves
• 1" Cinnamon stick
• 1 Black peppercorn
• 1 Bay leaf
• 1 tsp Cumin seeds
• 2 tbsp Ghee/butter
How to make Tofu Rice:
In frying pan, heat ghee/butter.
Add cloves, cinnamon, bay leaf, black peppercorn and cumin seeds and cook until done.
Add onion and sauté until golden brown.
Add tomatoes and sauté until ghee comes out.
Add garam masala, salt, garlic, ginger and chilies. Fry for 2 minutes.
Add tofu cubes and fry for 2 min, stirring continuously.
Add cooked rice and mix well.
Tofu Rice is ready.
