  • 1 Cup chopped cooked turkey
  • 3 Fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 Cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 Cup heavy cream
  • 1/3 Cup frozen peas, thawed
  • 1 tbsp All purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
How to make Turkey a la King:
  • Take a large skillet and melt the butter over medium low heat.
  • Fry mushrooms till tender.
  • Mix it with flour until smooth.
  • Now slowly whisk in chicken broth and cook it till slightly thickened.
  • Add turkey, cream, and peas, stir well.
  • Reduce the heat to low and cook till thickened.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste.
