| • | Wash and soak rice for 15 minutes.

| • | Drain water and keep it aside.

| • | In a frying pan, heat butter and add cloves, cinnamon, cardamon and fry for a minute.

| • | Add ginger & garlic and fry for a minute.
|
| • | Now add onion and fry till it turns light brown.
|
| • | Add vegetables to it and fry for about 10 minutes until a little tender.
|
| • | Now add rice and fry for a while until the rice turns light brown.
|
| • | Pour 3 to 3 1/2 cups of water and add salt (to taste) and cook to boil.

| • | Now your Vegetable Fried Rice is ready. |
