Turkey a la King
- 1 Cup chopped cooked turkey
- 3 Fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 Cup chicken broth
- 1/2 Cup heavy cream
- 1/3 Cup frozen peas, thawed
- 1 tbsp All purpose flour
- 2 tbsp Butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Take a large skillet and melt the butter over medium low heat.
- Fry mushrooms till tender.
- Mix it with flour until smooth.
- Now slowly whisk in chicken broth and cook it till slightly thickened.
- Add turkey, cream, and peas, stir well.
- Reduce the heat to low and cook till thickened.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
