- 3 cups Water
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1 cup Steel-Cut Oats
- 1/2 tsp Honey
- Heat water in a medium pan and add salt to it. Bring it to a boil and stir in oats.
- Reduce heat to simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove the porridge from heat and serve immediately, or if a thicker texture is desired, cover saucepan and let it stand for a few minutes.
- Serve Oatmeal Porridge with raw sugar or honey.
