- 1 can Kidney Beans (soaked, rinsed)
- 1 can Corn
- 2 tsp Salt
- Wash corn in cold water.
- Heat the corn together with water and beans in a saucepan over medium to low flame.
- Simmer for 2 hrs, or until tender.
- Season the Githeri with salt.
- Githeri is ready to serve. It is accompanied with chapattis, ugali, and meat to complete a Kenyan meal.
