- 1 cup Sugar
- 3 tsp Baking powder
- 4 tbsp Butter
- 2 cup Flour
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 2 cup Sugar for topping
- 1 cup Milk
- 2 cup Canned Cherry Topping
- Cream butter and sugar in a bowl and set aside.
- Sift the flour and mix salt in a separate bowl.
- Add this to the butter-sugar mix.
- Stir in milk and pour into a greased and floured 13x9 baking pan.
- Sprinkle with sugar and top with cherries.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes or until brown on top.
