- 1 lb Prunes
- 4 cups Sugar
- 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 2 cups Water
- 1 cup Nut (chopped)
- Wash the prunes. Cook them with water until tender.
- Drain, pit and chop the prunes.
- Mix prunes and lemon juice and boil to a temperature of 234°F to 238°F.
- Cool down to room temperature and then beat until creamy.
- Add chopped nuts and pour into well-buttered, shallow pan.
- Let the fudge set and then cut it into squares.
