- 3 Cups raw shelled peanuts
- 2 Cups granulated sugar
- 1 Cup light corn syrup
- 2 tsp Baking soda
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1/2 Cup water
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- Heat corn syrup, sugar, water and salt in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and add peanuts.
- Reduce the flame to medium and stir continuously.
- Cook the contents till hard crack stage.
- Add butter and baking soda.
- Beat the mixture swiftly and pour it on a buttered surface of 1/4-inch thickness. Cool and break into pieces.
