The Universidad Popular Autonoma del Estado de Puebla (UPAEP) or Popular Autonomous University of Puebla State is a renowned higher education Institute of Mexico. It is a private university run by catholic management. It was founded in 1973 at ex-hacienda La Noria by a group of people including teachers and students of Benemerita Universidad Autonoma de Puebla (BUAP or Meritorious Autonomous University of Puebla), after breaking up with the organization. It has moved to a new location now - Puebla. The primary motive of the university is to serve the members of the community. The university which offers a number of accredited educational programs is famous for its academic excellence. The university is highly committed to its social and cultural responsibilities. Admission Procedures
Admission is done on the basis of tests and academic scores. Fill up the application form along with a pay slip for $400 (US). other documents to be submitted along with the application form are:
  • Black and white photograph (oval)
  • Copy of academic grades
  • Copy of birth certificate
  • Photostat copy of address proof
  • Identity proof of the guardian
For admission to a medical course, candidates should have at least an average of 8 points in the grade scale and should be less than 23 years of age.

Tuition Fees
Tuition fees for international students are as given below:
Graduate - 0-1000 USD
Postgraduate - 1000-2500 USD
Apart from tuition fees there are extra charges for medical assessment, medical insurance, etc. Total educational expenses include books, transportation, accommodation, food and other common living expenses.
