Gwalior International Trade fair is the Asia’s second largest trade fair. The trade fair had started in year 1905. It is held every year in the middle of December and lasts for a month. The trade fair acts as a commercial hub for showcasing a vast range of industrial products and crafts. It has 1200 pavilions, about 500 platforms and 3000 open space shops. Gwalior Trade fair is internationally recognized for its cultural events wherein topmost musicians, dancers, singers, poets, and cine heart-throbs are invited to perform. Mushairas, Dangals, Kavi Sammelans, Kavvalis, cultural evenings and music nights are some of the integral parts of the fair. More than two million people from all over India visit the Gwalior International Trade fair.
All people without any tickets are allowed to visit the Gwalior International Trade fair.
Targeted exhibitors at Gwalior International exhibition are all major business companies (private and government) dealing in: cloths & apparels, leather goods, cottage industry items, luggage, pottery, electronics & home appliances, automobiles and furniture, plastic goods and metal wares etc. Major national and international companies that participate include Bajaj Auto Limited, Samsung Electronics, Cello Furniture, Whirlpool, Onida, BPL, Aristicrat & VIP Luggage, Maruti, Mahendra & Mahendra, LML and Hero Honda.
