International conference on Emerging and Re- emerging Viral Diseases of the Tropics and Sub-Tropics (ICVT 2007) is being organized by Indian Virological Society. The event aims to invite eminent virologists from different parts of the world for oral and poster presentations on viruses, viral diseases of human, plants, animals, fishes, insects etc. and on other spheres of Virology. Some of the topics to be discussed in the meeting are economic impact of viral diseases of animals, plants and fishes, genomics and proteomics, genomic diversity, biosafety and IPR and other related topics.
