TOBACCON 2009 – National Conference on Tobacco aims to bring together experts from the government and the tobacco industry (both manufacturers and farmers) as well as the medical fraternity to debate the issues in and around the worst man-made calamity of the 21st century. The objective of the conference is to identify gaps in tobacco control in the areas of policy, implementation, actions of the Community, the non-government organizations and the government institutions in the various sectors and to suggest ways of filling up the gaps.
