The Rajasthan International Folk Festival is India’s first annual folk festival celebrating the regional roots music and the arts. The festival is launched by two most prominent culture and heritage development agencies, Jaipur Virasat Foundation and the Mehrangarh Museum Trust. Singers, artisans, dancers, instrumentalists and storytellers from various Rajasthani folk communities will be participating in this event. A number of artists of national and international repute will also give theatrical evening performances of music from around the world. The breathtaking venue of the Rajasthan International Folk Festival is Mehrangarh Fort. The festival provides the visitors an insight into the miscellany and richness of Rajasthan's traditional music and rural arts.
