Vautha Fair is a magnificent annual fair held at Vautha, Gujarat. The venue is near the confluence of Sabarmati river and the Vatrak river. It is believed that Kartik Swami, the son of Lord Shiva, had visited this site. Vautha Fair is the only animal trade fair held in Gujarat. The fair is equivalent to the famous camel fair of Pushkar, Rajasthan. During the fair, thousands of donkeys are brought for sale every year. Farmers, labourers, and people from various communities and castes visit the Vautha Fair.
