The Sangat Music festival, organized at the Tata Theatre in Mumbai, provides an opportunity to Indian musical diaspora to showcase their talent. It is held every year in the month of December. This classical festival features performances by non-resident Indian instrumentalists and vocalists. It is a unique music festival that invites talented artists and musicians of Indian origin. Some foreign musicians are also invited at the Sangat festival to thrill the people with Indian classical renditions. The festival provides an opportunity for music teachers and students to interact with the renowned musicians by means of workshops, rehearsals and individual lessons.
