Ingredients:
  • 2 Fish Fillets
  • 1 tsp Chilly Powder
  • ½ tsp Turmeric Powder
  • Salt (to taste)

    For Stuffing:
  • ¼ cup Prawns
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • ¼ tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 2 tbsp grated Coconut
  • 2 small Onions
  • 1 Green Chilly
  • A pinch of Cumin Powder
  • 4 stems of Curry Leaves
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tbsp Oil

    For Masala:
  • 1 small Onion (sliced)
  • 5 stems of Curry Leaves
  • 1 small Tomato (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp Coriander Leaves (chopped)
  • ¼ tsp Chilly Powder
  • A pinch of Turmeric Powder
  • ½ tsp Garam Masala
  • Salt (to taste)
How to make Stuffed Fish:
  • Mix chilly powder, turmeric powder, and salt in a bowl. Marinate the fish with it.
  • Combine coconut, onions, green chilly, cumin, turmeric, and curry leaves in a grinder. Process into a smooth paste.
  • Heat oil in a pan and crackle mustard seeds.
  • Pour in the ground coconut mixture.
  • Add prawns and salt. Stir and cover the pan. Cook until the liquid dries out. Remove and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry onion and curry leaves.
  • Stir in chilly powder, turmeric, garam masala, and salt.
  • Add tomato and coriander leaves. Stir well and keep aside.
  • Lay a fish fillet on a tin foil and top up with prawn mixture.
  • Place the other fillet over the mixture.
  • Spread the cooked masala over the fillet and carefully wrap the fillet, along with the foil.
  • Set the oven to 350 degrees F and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Serve hot.
