Ingredients:
• 1 cup raw Rice
• 1 cup Jaggery
• Little Dry Coconut (chopped)
• 2 tbsp Ghee
• tsp Cardamom Powder
• tsp Baking Powder
• 2 ripe Bananas
• 1 tsp Oil
How to make Unniappam:
Soak rice in water for 2-4 hours. Drain it.
Grind soaked rice, baking soda, and bananas together, adding some water.
Add jaggery and grind again.
Heat ghee in a pan and fry coconut until golden brown.
Mix coconut and cardamom with ground rice.
Oil an appam pan and fill each portion with the rice mixture. Cook on both sides until golden brown.
Serve hot.
