Ingredients:
  • 500 g Tapioca
  • ½ cup grated Coconut
  • ½ tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 Onion (chopped)
  • 2 Garlic Cloves (chopped)
  • ½ tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 2 dry Red Chilies
  • 3 sprigs of Curry Leaves
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • Salt (to taste)
How to make Kappa:
  • Slice tapioca into small bite-size pieces.
  • Mix the tapioca pieces with garlic, turmeric powder, and enough water. Pressure cook them and mash well. Flavor with salt.
  • Heat oil in a pan and crackle mustard seeds.
  • Add red chilies and curry leaves. Shallow fry.
  • Stir in garlic, onion, and coconut. Cook until the mixture turns golden brown.
  • Mix the coconut mixture with the mashed tapioca.
  • Serve hot.
