Ingredients:
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 cups Maida
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 6 Eggs
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • ½ tsp Salt
How to make Hot Milk Sponge Cake:
  • Preheat oven to 180 °C.
  • Pour milk in a pan and simmer nicely.
  • Sift maida, baking powder, and salt together.
  • Beat eggs until thickened in a large bowl.
  • Mix in sugar slowly, stirring continuously for 5 minutes.
  • Add maida mixture and mix until fine and smooth.
  • Pour warm milk and vanilla. Whip until well blended.
  • Transfer the mixture into a baking pan and bake for about 30 minutes, until the crust turns golden.
  • Slice and serve warm.
