Ingredients:
  • 8 Potato and Onion Pierogies (frozen)
  • 2 thick bone-in Pork Loin Chops (3/4 inch)
  • 1/2 tsp Salt (divided)
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper (divided)
  • 4 tbsp Butter (divided)
  • 1 medium Sweet Onion (sliced and separated into rings)
  • 1 Golden Delicious Apple (cut into 1/4 inch slices)
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Cider Vinegar
How to make Pork Chops And Pierogies:
  • Sprinkle the pork chops with salt and pepper.
  • Cook the Pierogies.
  • In another skillet melt the butter and cook the chops till the juices run clear.
  • Remove the chops and in the same skillet sauté the onions.
  • Add the apples and sauté until tender.
  • Add the sugar, vinegar and the remaining salt and pepper and stir.
  • Bring to a boil and then simmer for 5 minutes with the skillet uncovered.
  • Drain the Pierogies and add it to the skillet. Then add the chops and stir to coat with the sauce.
