For the Bengali dish it is a very useful site. I will try the Chicken Biryani but want more new recipes around the world or total desi but give the ingredients name with Bengali term to understand it properly. |

Tis a good receipe, but u asked for 2 cups of curd... where or when do u put the second one?? the first one during marination and the second?
And why do u seal the biryani with aluminum foil? any alternatives for that?

After lots of hesitations on doing biriyani..since it includes too many steps.. I read this recipe and was bit encouraged to do. Eventho' I din't follow all the steps as such and just added and cut down few, it came out very well. Thanks much. |

AFTER SEALING THROUGH ALLUMINIUM FOIL , WHAT TO DO? TO COOK FOR SOME TIME IN LOW FLAME TO MAKE READY THE 3/4TH BOILED RICE TO SURVE ?
Please let me know. I'm very much influenced & inspired by your recipe & like to experiment at the earliest. thnks |

I prepared with this method, and this tastes ausome. However, there is no reference of salt in the steps mentioned here. |

This is the last step of this recipe. Your chicken Biryani is ready and we have covered it with aluminum foil to keep it fresh till served. |
gautami posted 18-Jun-2009 05:09 AM
In your recipe of chicken biryani, what is done after covering and sealing it with an aluminum foil. Do we need not to cook further!!!!!!! |
sathisan Nair posted 25-Dec-2008 12:52 AM
This recipe is good. It will be too tasty, if the marinated chicken is fried before cooking.
thanks
