  • 3 oz Buckwheat Groats
  • 2/3 cup hot Water
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • Salt (to taste)
How to make Buckwheat Kasha:
  • Pour water in a bowl and add buckwheat groats, salt, and butter. Mix gently.
  • Pour into a baking pot and bake for 3-4 hours in a pre-heated oven at 350 degrees F.
  • Cover the pot with a large pan and turn upside down one hour before finishing.
  • Wrap a wet thin cloth around the pot so that the kasha falls off from the pot into the pan.
  • Serve with cold baked milk or butter.

I actually have an issue. I am unsuccessful in trying locate retail suppliers of buckwheat. I am located in Kerala; however I'm open to buying online.
